Joyce Evans Circle (JEC) is an Australian collective of women photographers from diverse backgrounds. We were established at MAGNET Galleries Melbourne following a suggestion by our namesake, the late Joyce Evans OAM (1929–2019), who was a highly influential photographer, gallery director, and pillar of the Australian photographic community.
We meet regularly to plan exhibitions, engage with the community, share ideas and support one another, just as Joyce envisioned.
